Luxury travel to Antarctica: when, how and what to expect

The white continent without giving up comfort: a luxury camp, private flights and the South Pole.

Antarctica is the last great frontier, and living it in luxury is one of the planet's most extraordinary experiences. Forget the crowded cruise: we're talking design camps on the ice, private flights and access to places almost no one reaches.

When to go

The Antarctic season is short: November to January, the austral summer, when there's near-permanent light and conditions allow. Places are very limited and sell out well ahead.

How and what to expect

The most exclusive route is to fly from Cape Town to a luxury camp in the continent's interior, in design pods, with expeditions to emperor penguin colonies and the chance to stand at the geographic South Pole. It's neither cheap nor improvised: it requires planning, lead time and an operator who coordinates every detail. We design it in full, with the safety and comfort a destination like this demands.
